Biography
I am an artist from Madison, Mississippi. I went to Spring Hill College to study art and graphic design. Nature and people perpetually inspire me, and I seek peace through my art. Whether that is inward or outward, a peace of mind, or a peace from social justice, all things peace attract my attention and efforts. I am a social justice advocate, and that shows up in my work from time to time. Shortly after graduating college, I was accepted into the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, a faith-based program where I chose to live out a year in service to others. During this time, I worked as a media associate for Outside the Lens, located in San Diego. I co-taught photography classes to children from low-income areas, migrant teens, and adults on the spectrum. All of this heavily informed my work, passions, and life.
